 This was posted in response to an article on Breitbart.com. I offer the following for your consideration:

"Good article but this is not a new message from Rick Santorum. If you have actually followed Santorum over the course of his career and after, you will see that everything he said is just exactly what he has spoken about and actually successfully legislated for. Read "It Takes A Family" he wrote back in 2006 and look up his record on helping the average American worker via pro-growth, pro-family policies. He has consistently spoken on and advocated for this for years. It's what lit a fuse during his 2012 campaign that attracted even many of the disaffected Reagan Democrats to take a serious look at him; and it alarmed the Democrat Party that he could be a serious threat to them for appealing to their large blue collar base. The Left knows that as an authentic and bold conservative culture warrior, Santorum will be untouchable on the very social and cultural issues they always rely on to beat up our usual milquetoast moderate GOP candidate who is either reluctant or incapable of authentically countering them. Santorum will force the Dems to defend their indefensible positions on these issues and expose them for the true extremists they are. This is the last thing the Democrat Party wants, to be put on trial in the spotlight of a national election, to actually have to defend their secular Marxists ideology against the Judeo-Christian based worldview rooted in truth and logic, that begot us this great nation. This is the battle for the very heart and soul, the very survival of our nation, that MUST be waged in a national debate, the ultimate clash of worldviews, not some battle of compartmentalized issues. Couple that with Santorum's message and doable plan that actually brings America together and you have a winner. Recall he won 11 states and more counties than all his competitors COMBINED before all establishment forces with their 24/7 media presence and millions of dollars came to Romney's aid to take this man out. With little money and a barebones organization, often outspent 5,6, even 10 to 1, Santorum came doggone close to toppling the pre-anointed Rominee and it took a virtual army of heavy hitters to take him out. That is absolutely incredible and is the story the MSM and even conservative talkers afflicted with American Idolitis do not want you to remember ever happened. I remember. So do millions who voted for him and/or didn't get the chance to do so in 2012. He has big name recognition now, which is why his message is getting attention--- finally. If the GOP is smart, they will see we have a Reagan 2.0 in our midst. Game On!" ~PatriotMom61
